Andy Patton is a Canadian film maker based in Vancouver, BC. Drawing on his admiration for the work of John Houston, Billy Wilder and Walter Murch, Patton's goal is tell compelling stories with a distinct aesthetic. His experiments with story-telling and film-making style began in the busy streets and dark hallways of New York City, where he studied during the months after the World Trade Towers fell. He went on to earn a masters degree at The University of Sydney in 2004, and teach photography and film making to children in Khao Lak, Thailand, during aftermath of the Asian Tsunami.
